About Overby InkJet Solutions

Company History

Having worked in the inkjet printing business for more than ten years Todd Overby created Overby InkJet Solutions in 1998.  OIS began as one man who felt with his dream he could better serve his customers.  Todd's philosophy was "better service for less money". Currently located in Illinois near St. Louis, Missouri, each customer knew Todd personally and they all had his personal cell phone number.

With the rapidly increasing demand for service on Videojet printers, a couple years later, he convinced his younger brother, Jeff, to partner up with him The business began in Jeff's basement, expanded to the garage and finally came to rest in the 6,000 square foot facility we operate out of today. With four service technicians in the St. Louis area, OIS supplies Videojet printers and parts throughout the United States and several other countries throughout the world.

Over 20 Years of Quality, Value and Exceptional Customer Service

The OIS sticker on the front of a Videojet printer has become a sign of quality in the inkjet world and offers the best value to users of industrial inkjet printers.  Customer satisfaction is still our number one priority and our reputation is our most valuable asset.

Our highest quality parts, fluids, and service are provided for your Videojet printer. We focus ourselves to provide the best responsive service and understanding the needs of manufacturers. OIS services all sizes of companies, from mom and pop operations to some of the largest companies in the world.

OIS carries the most complete line of parts for your Videojet printer and provide service to the Midwest and many areas throughout the country.

In the course of our field service work, we use the parts we sell every day. That's why we insist on highest quality parts to use and sell. Many items on our site come directly from the OEM supplier, some are actual OEM parts, and some are aftermarket made with our own tooling.

About Gateway Coding

In 2009, Todd and Jeff teamed up with lifelong friend Bryan Burge to form a sister company, Gateway Coding.  They formed Gateway Coding to provide their customers with new printing equipment for those who wanted that option. Gateway Coding quickly grew to be one of the largest Citronix distributors in the country.

Sadly, in 2011, Bryan lost his battle with cancer and died at the young age of 42. Bryan was a great friend with a great family. He laid the groundwork for what Gateway Coding has become today.

A locally owned and operated company, Gateway Coding is based in Granite City, IL in the St Louis metro area. We have many service and sales engineers with more than 40 years of combined experience to provide the best service for your needs.

Gateway Coding is dedicated to supplying you with prompt and professional sales and service for your labeling, inkjet, and material handling needs and while we are local to the St Louis area, all of our service, parts, and sales can be found nationwide.
